NITRAL 10 is commonly used as an additional cleaning agent after transfer of already cleaned and treated melts.

Generally the melt should be treated with NITRAL 10 after each refill. The required amount is plunged with a clean and perforated plunging bell into the melt.

After finishing the reaction the dross is removed carefully from the melt surface.
